This place is so comfortable, it's almost like coming home. I look forward to Sunday brunch there. My default is the machaca con huevos, although anything on the menu is worthwhile. Their mahi mahi tacos are very tasty. The hole card is Modelo Draught.

Fun Mexican restaurant near the Santa Anita mall and horse track. Big menu, good food...we always share the fajitas and there's enough for three people! Bar area looks fun for watching sports.

Excellent! Great cheese enchiladas, tacos and salsa! Beans and rice super fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. Service was spot on.

Went for authentic Mexican food that wasn’t too expensive... and left feeling satisfied. I think the only reason it was reasonable was because it was “Taco Tuesday.” Otherwise, the menu is rather expensive for what they serve you. Ex: A half order of guacamole is $4.95 and it’s a tiny ice cream scoop sized, of store bought guacamole. I actually confirmed with the waitress that this was in fact the right size bc I thought maybe it was their side portion. I will say the drinks are very good and plenty strong! We tried the regular house margaritas and the mango margaritas. They were both solid. The restaurant was loud and busy, but the bar was even more lively! If you like sports bars and Mexican, this might be your perfect haven! Enjoy!

We had Juan serve us .. what a complete gentleman Juan is. . Perfect with attention, service and advice on menu items, I'm not a big fan of Mexican food, but I like this restaurant, and Juan made it even better.I hope this restaurant knows what an asset they have in such a fine employee. Well worth a visit

Always great service!! Love Taco Tuesday I've found all menu items taste great. With the exception of the Mole, it's all good Mexican food. My favorite servers are Oscar and Santos, not forgetting the chip guy they call Tamale. He is THE HARDEST WORKER keeping your chips, salsa and drink full. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere happy!

Food was tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. We both had Chimichangas (seafood and shredded beef). Went for lunch on a Saturday seated immediately.

Great American Mexican food. The majority of the old staff went to Baja Mar in Monrovia. Same food. The salsa is to die for. Great enchiladas, tacos and soups.

A great place to have a well drink and some good lunch

Mahi mahi tacos dry and boring. Tasted like microwaved. No presentation what so ever...not worth the price they charge....only got one star because the margaritas are good. The server she was great very understanding.

My wife and I have been eating lunch here at least once a week for more than two years. My wife almost always orders the chicken flautas appetizer rather than the plate. The only difference is $6 and rice and beans. Pretty pricey rice and beans. Today we were informed that it was no longer available as an appetizer. In the past I have ordered ala Carter carnitas as I don't eat rice or beans. Guessing that not available either anymore. I guess it's the economy, but $12 more for food we don't eat is a nearly 50% increase in cost. Ouch

Ordered nachos and a bloody Mary to go. They were kind enough to package all cold ingredients separately so they don't get soggy and the bloody Mary was a kick in the gut. So strong yet so good! Great food and great service!

It's a bar "hangout"! Just eat before you come...the food isn't that good and the prices are OUTRAGEOUS for what you get. Been there for 42 years so they don't care. They have their regulars that keep them going...they don't need us...and that's the way you are made to feel! The un-eatable food got put on the table and that was it! No return for drink refills...nada!Cold atmosphere! Huge EMPTY spaces...go on and on...cozy fire place (not lit on this cold night)...I think It's symbolic...the "fire's gone out" of the place.lots of carved wood on the beautiful FULL BAR.Many T.V.'s scattered around fixed on sports events.The prices are ridiculous! No help from the waiter. I said I wanted a "soft" taco (it was soft alright...so soft and damp it fell apart) and a tamal. And that's what Cesar served me...one each on it's own plate. No rice...no beans! (They do have a combo plate but I wasn't offered that.)Left hungry and feeling "cheated"...not good.

The food here was pretty good. The service was fantastic! The atmosphere is very nice and kind of dimly lit which gave it a cozy feel. They got the food to us in a fairly timely manner too. Only complaint is that it was a bit on the expensive side. Besides that it was a pretty good experiance.

I love Peppers. I grew up with this place living in Pasadena, and the food is consistently good. My favorites are the fajitas, carnitas, and enchiladas but everything on the menu is delicious. Their mild salsa is perfect and I could probably eat a bowl of their chips on my own. Save a little room at the end because they bring you out some cinnamon and chocolate tortilla chips :)

Great variety of food choices. Generous servings and bar pours. Service is friendly and good. Bar can be loud with music, televisions and customers but also very friendly. Serves parties large and small. Family friendly.

Fajitas might seem like they're a little high-priced however order it without mushrooms a full plate comes out thick chunks of white juicy chicken beef and you have enough left over for the next day sizzling hot onions in the meat cooking smell delicious at your table! Great service everyone passing by specially the guy clearing the table kept filling our drinks before they were empty really good eye on the tables!!@!@ thank you!

Enjoyed a delicious meal on Valentines day with a group of friends...a tradition! Food, drinks, and service were all outstanding! Was very disappointed the traditional Valentine Heart Chocolate Cake is no longer served!

Food is decent, a bit pricey. Wait staff are very attentive and nice! The sauce that tops the chilli rellanos has changed, it's still good but was so much more flavorful before it was changed. I recommend you try it at least one time
